EVROPSKÁ 11
The aim of the proposal is to create a new landmark for Evropská Street, which would not only complete the unfinished street space but also offer new services with a unique atmosphere and a novel character. An important source of inspiration was the morphology of Czech architectural cubism, which has been transformed into a new concept on a different scale. The building will benefit not only the citizens of Dejvice but also foreign visitors arriving from Václav Havel International Airport.
The shape of the building is influenced by its immediate surroundings. The influence from Evropská Street shapes the northern facade to create an appropriate entrance situation that invites people inside. The eastern end of the northern wing is set back from the adjacent existing residential building, maintaining the necessary distance while opening up views of the park.
Additional inspiration comes from the Diplomat Hotel, with the facade dynamically distanced from the hotel, increasing the setback to 25 meters to ensure optimal sunlight conditions. The center comprises 17,800 sqm of office space, 2,800 sqm of restaurant and retail space, 2,500 sqm for residential use, and approximately 5,700 sqm of parking spaces.
